OH! How HE loves us

This is a quick testimony of yesterday, Jan, 07, 10. there is so much to tell of all the circumstances leading up to this day that are nothing less then, the evidence of GOD’s, mercy, grace, and wondrous works, and of course the testing of faith. More importantly, His Love. That is a whole testimony in it of itself. (Stay tuned for another time)

Yesterday I woke up with the plan of spending a couple hours with shelli. The night before we discussed going out witnessing over a cup of coffee at starbucks, then finished the night with prayer, and a good night kiss. (o-lala).

Upon waking up I was rolling over a couple scenarios of just how I was going to keep the day’s focus on the LORDS work, and propose. GOD’s Words of, “this is the day HE has made I will rejoice, and be glad in it”, were rolling over within my spirit and heart. So I invited her to go to breakfast at either Denny’s or ihop, and read from the Bible. She said, “yes”, but we ended up driving for errands we ended up at the waffle shop. We, prayed then read from Philippians chap. 3, within minutes, it seemed, our food was there; we prayed for grace, and enjoyed our meal, and awesome conversation. I felt like time was standing still, I could have spent hours gazing into her pretty eyes, and beautiful smile. However, I felt like it was also time to leave, and needed to get over my anxiety, and nervousness. So I excused my self, then rushed over to the waitress telling her that I’m about to do something semi spontaneous, she looked with uncertainty and confusion, I stuttered the words, I’m about to propose can u take a picture. She said, “Yes”, then quickly ran for her camera.

When I seen that the waitress was at our table, I jumped out of my seat fumbled with getting the ring out of my pocket, while walking toward Shelli, then dropped to both knees telling her how much I love JESUS, and her being a close second. ………. . . . . her lip quivered her eyes watered, she said, “YES”. The restaurant cheered, applauded, and Shelli made me feel like some sort of hero. lol GOD blessed my socks off, and my shoes were still on my feet!!

There is so much goodness to tell, we must have been there for another hour or so. When we left we decided to go to park to pray for people. For the next couple hours we were soooooo bleseseeseed, by the LORD in the conversations, and prayer. WOW! GOD is good, and his mercy endures forever.!!!

Did I mentioned Shelli said, “yes”
